Mother’s Day is an important time each year to recognize and honor the hardworking mothers of our community, and at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, it’s a time that is near and dear to our hearts. That’s why each spring, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations partner with local women’s and family shelters to collect goods that will make Mother’s Day special for moms who are currently living in shelters, with our Movers for Moms campaign.
How it works
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations partner with local businesses, organizations, schools, and more to set up collection sites where people donate essential care items that will be delivered to mothers in need.
Once all items are donated to the designated collection sites, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving teams pick up and deliver these items to the shelters they’ve partnered with.
Items typically collected include soaps, hair care products, shampoos and conditioners, pillows, blankets, slippers, and basic clothing items. These items may vary depending on the needs of the shelter.

The importance of a mother can’t be understated, and nobody understands that more than us here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. Our company was started by a mother, Founder Mary Ellen Sheets, and with numerous franchisees being mothers, we appreciate the hard work and sacrifice of every mom!
